Spain’s CNMV warns against unauthorized,, two other financial entities

Investment service providers Atlantic Global Asset Management, Europea De Finanzas Y Mercadotecnia, Analisis Global Asesoría Empresarial, and are not authorized to do business in Spain, the country’s financial authority, the Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), warned on Monday in separate notices.

Neither of the above-mentioned entities is authorized to provide in Spain investment or auxiliary services, including investment advice, in relation to financial instruments, including transactions on foreign currency.

In addition, the CNMV warned that Europea De Finanzas Y Mercadotecnia and Analisis Global Asesoría Empresarial are both associated to a person called Jose Luis Balsera Amoros, who acts as sole administrator of the two entities.

The regulator provided no further details.

The website is no longer operationsal. Meanwhile, Atlantic Global Asset Management claims on its website,, that it is based in Cabo Verde. The company provides a wide range of financial services and no information regarding regulation.

In order to operate in Spain, companies need to obtain a license by the local relevant authorities or the authorities of any other EU member state. The CNMV maintains a register with investment companies that are authorized to provide financial services in the country.
