Malta’s MFSA fines €15 000 BTFX forex broker

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) announced it has fined Brokersclub Limited, owner of the forex broker BTFX €15 000.

According to the notice, the company has breached several requirements listed in the Investment Services Rules for Investment Services Providers of Malta, mostly concerning failure to submit audited financial reports for the year ending on December 31, 2015.

The notice is part of MFSA’s obligation to inform the public about administrative or disciplinary sanction or measure, of whatever type, including reprimands or warnings, imposed or decided by the Authority under any law for whose administration it is responsible.

BTFX is based in Malta and is regulated by the MFSA. It offers trading in over 40 forex pairs, plus silver and gold on the popular MetaTrader 4 platform.
