Do not invest more money than you can afford to lose.
ChartIQ, the software company behind the Technician trading platform and technical analysis tool, launched a brand new version of its mobile application, announced the company.
The app includes additional functionality and improved analysis tools and real-time data feeds. It has redesigned features and allows the users to trade forex and stocks directly from their charts. The application also has upgraded analytical capabilities that put it on par with desktop and laptop computers who are the preferred analysis tools by the traders.
Another addition are the application program interfaces (API) provided by the Tradable trading platform, with which Technician integrated in February to offer access to its users to some of the major brokerages through Tradable. The other API is provided by Tradier and gives the same opportunity.
Other features in the new version of the Technician mobile app include drawing tools, chart sharing, market news, company financials, and over 80 technical indicators. There are add-on toolkits, including Harmonic Patterns Collection, DS Essentials, Visual Earnings by Estimize, and WaveBasis Elliott Waves Power Tools. It will be available shortly in the Apple App Store or Google Play, but both are still offering the old version of the application, last updated in the summer of 2015.
“Traders have resigned themselves to the notion that the desktop computer is the only device capable of deep technical analysis. Technician’s new mobile app adamantly opposes that notion by putting full-powered charting and trading tools right in your pocket. The new Technician app changes what it means to be a technical trader in 2016,” says Stephen Oklesson, ChartIQ’s managing director of active trader products.
The Technician app was launched in July 2015 by the ChartIQ software company, specializing in charting and data visualization solutions for capital markets. It offers professional grade HTML5 charts and technical analysis tools for traders.
The app is available as a web application for desktop and laptop computers, iOS mobile devices and Android devices. In February this year ChartIQ updated the technical analysis tools in the desktop and laptop version of the software.
Technician offers more than 80 indicators, charts and drawing tools and real time US equity and forex data.
