The offshore-registered binary options broker Olymp Trade has expanded its portfolio of trading instruments. It said it has added stocks of leading US companies and global indices. They include Apple, Facebook, Google, IBM, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Boeing, Tesla Motors, Microsoft, Visa and Starbucks and the indices DAX, DOW JONES, S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100.
Recently Olymp Trade announced it has raised the maximum price of a trade on a binary options to USD 2500 for VIP accounts and USD 1000 for standard accounts. It has also introduced the option to cancel an unsuccessful trade. In this case the client can get back up to 60% of the sum they invested in the losing trade.
Olymp Trade is registered on the Seychelles and is mostly targeting the Russian market. It is also a member of the external dispute resolution organization based in Hong Kong, the Financial Commission (FinaCom). It is also a member of the Russian self-regulation body, the Center for Regulation of Financial Relations (CROFR).

Recently Alpari, Russia’s largest forex broker in terms of trading volume, has introduced the 5-minute range binary options on select forex pairs. It has also expanded its cashback program to binary options traders.
Binary options are a type of financial instrument very much akin to gambling. The “investor” bets on random events such as whether the price of a financial instrument will go up or down or whether it will reach a certain price within a very short period of time. It is an all or nothing proposition and the “investor” could lose a large sum very fast.
Binary options are usually offered in the portfolio of forex brokers, but there are companies who offer only trading in binary options. Some of them, like Olymp Trade, are properly registered and regulated, but there are plenty of unregulated binaries brokers who are cheating people off their money.
