FXTM (ForexTime), a Cyprus-regulated forex broker announced a partnership with the BASE jumper and Red Bull athlete Valery Rozov.
FXTM will support Rozov in a series of jumps at various locations across the world, called the #FXTMbasejump project.

FXTM is based in Cyprus and regulated by the local watchdog, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). The broker offers trading in more than 100 instruments, including forex, spot metals, and CFDs on stocks, commodities, and exchange traded fund (ETFs). It serves retail and institutional clients alike and supports MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading platforms.
BASE jumping, also sometimes written as B.A.S.E. jumping, is parachuting or wingsuit flying from a fixed structure or a cliff. “BASE” stands for the four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump: building, antenna, span, and Earth (cliff). BASE jumping is an extreme sport, that gained popularity among the general public thanks to numerous action movies. Because the altitude of the jumps is lower, BASE jumping is considered far more dangerous than skydiving from a plane.
Valery Rozov is the holder of the world record for highest BASE jump. In May 2013 Rozov jumped off Changtse (7220 m) – a northern peak of the Everest Massif – using a specially designed Red Bull wing suit. Rozov has also jumped off the highest peak in Europe – Mount Elbrus and was the first person to free-fall into a volcano – Mutnovskiy – one of the most active volcanoes in Kamchatka.
The partnership between FXTM and Rozov is by far not the first instance of a forex broker teaming up with sports personalities. In February the Danish forex broker Saxo Bank announced it is continuing its sponsorship of the Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean. The binaries broker OptionRally is also in the car racing advertising after in May reached a partnership deal with the Ferrari Formula 1 team.
A host of forex and binaries brokers are either sponsoring or are official partners of football teams, while IG Group is a sponsor of the English rugby team Harlequins.
