Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform Bondora said last week it has launched a Refer-A-Friend program, under which investors can earn 5% from the amount their referred friends lent in the first 30 days of signing up via the platform.

Investors who wish to refer a friend and get a reward have to be clients of the platform and share a  custom referral link with their friends who wish to join the platform. Once they introduce a friend to Bondora, what investors earn depends on the amount their friends invest via the platform. Statistically, the average amount Bondora users invests exceeds €4,000, the company said, which would equal a reward of €200 for investors. Rewards are paid if referred friends invest a minimum of €10.  Referred investors, on the other hand, receive a welcome reward of €5 that they can use for their first investment.
