It appears that the fraudulent trading algorithms are mushrooming like crazy and two mare have popped up. This time it is the Metodo Italiano and TheProfitAlgorithm and Italy’s financial regulator CONSOB is warning they “cannot be traced to subjects authorised to provide investment services and activities in Italy”.
The Metodo Italiano is the localized version of the global binary options scam going by the names “Swiss Methode”, “Danske Methode”, the “Canuck Method”, the “Brit Method” and the “Aussie Method”.
Like them, the “Italian Method” starts off with testimonials of people who have won unbelievable sums and promises profits of “hundreds of thousands of dollars each month”, only if one signs up on “this secret page, accessible only through invitation”. “Giovanni Berti” who, naturally is not a university graduate and not a mathematician promises to “guide you through the process” and promises everything is gratis and “we are not after your money”. But requires your credit card number in order to sign you up for the magical method.
CONSOB also warns of two financial scams conducted through two Facebook pages: Innovative Investment Holding and Progetto Apple, both promoted by Adv Management – La tua rendita Semplice. An SMN check, however revealed, that both pages have already been taken down.
