IFC Markets launches trading on MetaTrader 5

IFC MT5

Offshore forex brokerage IFC Markets is the next forex broker to launch the multi-asset MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading platform. In addition to its in-house NetTradeX platform and MetaTrader 4, the broker now offers trading on MetaTrader 5.

MT5 is the advanced successor of the popular MT4 platform, which is still offered by most forex brokers across the world. Since the introduction of the hedging option to MT5 in 2016, it has started to gain popularity both among forex brokers and traders, not least thanks to the efforts of developer MetaQuotes Software to promote it and abandon its predecessor.

Earlier this month Russian broker VTB24 Forex and ASIC-licensed IC Markets launched trading on MT5. Other brokers offering MT5 are FxPro, XM, Fibo Group, FXTM, FBS, Alpari, IC Markets, FXFlat, etc.

IFC Markets is the trading brand of IFCMarkets Corp, which is part of financial technologies holding company IFCM Group. It is based in the British Virgin Islands and is licensed by the local financial regulator, the Financial Services Commission (FSC).

The group also includes online forex broker Infin Markets, which is licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), and financial software developer NetTradeX Corp.
