Saxo Bank, a Danish multi-asset trading and investment company, announced a white label partnership with the offshore-registered Fidelity Bank Asia (FAB), a subsidiary of the Fidelity Bank Ghana. Through the partnership the FAB will be using Saxo Bank’s trading platform SaxoTraderGO technology to launch its multi-asset trading platform FabTraderGo.
The platform is available on all mobile and desktop platforms and offers functionality across the entire trade cycle – from pre-trade to execution and post-trade services. It can be used for trading in forex, options, cash stocks, electronic traded funds (ETFs), futures and CFDs. Among the instruments on offer are 182 forex pairs, 40 forex options, precious metals including gold, silver, platinum and palladium. The leverage is up to 1:50.
FabTraderGo allows investors to manage their portfolios from anywhere and at any time, place orders, monitor positions, trade from a watch list with dedicated trading tickets or directly from the chart in real time. The platform includes technical analysis tools – 29 technical indicators and 14 chart studies – supports multiple instruments on the same charts and sends push notifications to mobile devices.
Besides FabTraderGo, the FAB offers FabTrader – a platform for professional traders and the most popular trading platform – MetaTrader 4.
“This partnership represents the latest phase in our recent expansion and Saxo was a natural partner for us on account of the strength of its multi-asset offering”, said K Duker, CEO of Fab. “Our ambition is to also enhance our offering to long-term investors through our partnership with Saxo Bank.”
“Fab is the latest of our white label partners that will benefit from over 20 years of innovation and experience in trading infrastructure, allowing them to customize their client experience and create new revenue streams,” said Matteo Cassina, global head of sales of Saxo Bank.
Recently the company is taking steps towards expanding the presence of its proprietary mobile trading platform SaxoTraderGO, which has versions for Android and iPhone. In February Saxo Bank signed an Introducing Broker (IB) partnership with the Maltese commercial bank Bank of Valletta. Under the partnership Bank of Valletta will be using the technology of Saxo Bank’s SaxoTraderGO online trading platform, as well as the market data, provided by the Danish company. Also in February Saxo Bank announced the extension of its sponsorship of the Formula One driver Romain Grosjean to promote SaxoTraderGO.
FAB is a commercial bank, licensed by the Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority of Malaysia. It was incorporated in April 2012 and commenced operations in June the same year. FAB is a fully–owned subsidiary of Fidelity Bank Ghana Ltd. It offers traditional banking services such as deposits and loans, both for individuals and businesses, investment services and wealth management.
