Prompted by instability of the Turkish lira instruments, following the unsuccessful military coup in Turkey on July 15, HiWayFX also set TRY pairs to close only mode until situation in Turkey stabilizes. Meanwhile, the broker launched a new mobile app, called HiWayFX Analytics.

Change of trading conditions

In a note to its clients the broker said it will be monitoring closely the market volatility to assess and decide whether additional preventive measures must be implemented for certain/or other instruments such as further increasing margin requirements, as well as restricted availability of trading.

HiWayFX continues its commitment to protecting the best interests of its clients by taking preventative steps to ensure a safe trading environment. We remind you that it was  one of the brokers to suspend opening trades in select instruments over UK referendum.

In fact, a bunch of FX brokers have temporarily changed their trading conditions for TRY pairs, including leading EU broker FxPro, ThinkForex, Blackwell Global, and Russia`s largest FX broker Alpari, among others. Swiss forex broker Dukascopy, on the other hand, reduced leverage on TRY pairs.

HiWayFX Analytics mobile app

Meanwhile, HiWayFX released its own mobile app, equipped with a set of new analytical tools aiming to help traders improve their skills and strategies. It is called HiWayFX Analytics and is available to download from Google Play and Apple’s App Store for both iOS and Android devices. The new app also provides access to a number of educational articles.

As more and more traders prefer trading on the go, brokers focus on development and updating of mobile apps with intuitive design and responsive interface that facilitates quick access to financial markets. That is why the SMN team keeps a close eye on both Android and iOS trading apps offered by FX brokers. Recently, we found out that according to statistics provided by business intelligence and analyst company App Anniethe, the most downloaded trading app in the UK is the one provided by Trading 212.

HiWayFX supports the popular MetaTrader 4, as well as GWAZY white-label trading platform and also offers a wide range of extra services, like a specialized account for the ZuluTrade peer-to-peer online trading network and Trading Signals social trading service. It is regulated by the financial watchdogs of the island countries of Cyprus and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
