EU forex broker ForexTime, or FXTM, has landed a partnership with the Sahara Force India Formula One. The broker has become the official forex partner of the event for the 2017 season.
“As a young and dynamic F1 team, Force India has shown the kind of unbending determination and relentless drive that is essential in a competitive industry – making them the perfect fit to be FXTM’s partner,” the company said in a statement.
The broker has been active in sponsoring sports. It also supports base jumper Valery Rozov, who recently. The FXTM-backed jumper set a new world record for highest exit spot for a BASE jump in October last year.
FXTM is based in Cyprus and is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which allows it to provide its services in all EU countries. The broker also holds a license from the Financial Services Board (FSB) of South Africa. It has also set up a London-based unit, but it has provided no information at the time as to whether it plans to acquire a UK license.
