EU forex broker FXTM announced it is launching a customer support channel via the Telegram Messenger platform.
The chat option has been added by popular demand. In addition to it, FXTM also offers communication options through WhatsApp and Viber.
FXTM joins the growing list of forex brokers who are using Telegram for various purposes.
The trend started last year with various brokers launching different types of services. FxPro and Gerchik&Co., for instance, also started a news, analysis and updates channel, while FreshForex and Finam launched trading bots. The offshore forex broker FBS offers customer service support. Recently Alpari launched a news channel on Telegram.
The broker offers trading in more than 100 instruments, including forex, spot metals, and CFDs on stocks, commodities, and exchange traded fund (ETFs). It serves retail and institutional clients alike and supports MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading platforms.
FXTM is based in Cyprus and is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which allows it to provide its services in all EU countries. The broker also holds a license from the Financial Services Board (FSB) of South Africa. It has also set up a London-based unit, but it has provided no information at the time as to whether it plans to acquire a UK license.
