The index Nikkei225 (JPN225) is the most traded CFDs on the platforms of the world’s largest forex broker in terms of trading volume, GMO Click Securities, shows data released by the company today. In the category of foreign equities most traded is Amazon.
According to the company, Nikkei 225, which consists of the stocks of Japan’s largest companies across all sectors, retains its top position for the 18-th consecutive month. At the same time, historical data shows that Amazon has climbed from the fifth position in April and has displaced Apple to the second position.
In the general ranking of most traded CFDs, the Japanese index is followed by CFDs on crude oil and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (US30) index, much like in April. The ranking of the three most traded CFDs has remained unchanged since September 2015, according to the GMO Click Securities data. Only exception is this past March when the US30 index was displaced to fourth position by gold spot.

The situation with the most traded CFDs on foreign equities is somewhat more dynamic, shows the data of GMO Click Securities. Since the start of the year, Tesla Motors has been climbing in the ranks and are steadily sitting in the third place in April and March, propelled by the unveiling of the automotive company’s Tesla Model 3 in the end of March.
